ModA Curations is pleased to open its second exhibition of 2025, Death, as well as its second space, ModA Collaborative, in DTLA, Los Angeles. Death, curated by Sia Fang, will bookend ModA Curations’ overall theme, “Love in conversation in death”. Deliberately placed into conversation with its preceding show, Love, in Manhattan, New York, earlier this year, Death means to ask viewers to look beyond human determinations of finality. Death will be on view at ModA Collaborative, 1933 S Broadway, 10th floor, Los Angeles, CA 90007, from November 22, 2025, to January 10, 2026, with an opening reception on November 22nd from 5-9 pm. Programming highlights include art performances by exhibiting artists, as well as a live music set and free headshots as part of ModA Collaborative’s broader space opening.

Death features the work of eight exhibiting contemporary artists: Ankur Maniar, Flora Wilds, Liu Shi, Nelson Wang, Stephen Radley, Jennifer Boyuan Han, Mohammed Al-Hawajri, and Ruben Gutierrez, and performances by returning artists John Wright II and Ellen Carpenter. The space at ModA Collaborative spans over 12,000 square feet, divided into reception, creative amenities, and an exhibition hall. All areas will be utilized to feature the 70+ works in “Death.” A map will be provided upon visitor entry. Highlighted media of this exhibition include oil and acrylic paint on canvas, colored sand, textile sculpture, polaroid photography, drawing on paper, archival print, and limited edition prints of oil on canvas.
